The Rank Strangers Band

The Rank Strangers Band include: Matt Kendrick on upright bass; Jack King on guitar; and Clyde Edgerton on guitar.

The performance includes Clyde Edgerton reading from his novels, and also vocal and instrumental music on banjo, guitar, and (if provided) piano. The mix of music, readings and commentary will generally be about ten minutes of readings (usually humorous in which Edgerton takes on voices and characteristics of his characters) and then a few songs, including his originals, "The Safety Patrol Song," "Fat from Shame," and others, a good mix which can last from thirty minutes to an hour and fifteen minutes or so. All performances receive rave reviews.
