Still available is the cassette of "The Devil's Dream" by the Tarwater Band (Clyde Edgerton, Susan Ketchin, and Jim Watson). The songs all appear in the novel "The Devil's Dream", by Lee Smith. Additionally Lee talks here and there between songs about mountain music and her early life in Appalachia. Songs include the originals, " God Stood Waiting by the Side of the Road," and "Two Lefts Don't Make a Right," as well as traditional songs like "Cripple Creek," and "Motherless Child."
